GRANT COOTE - Group CEO

Grant Coote is the extensively experienced Chief Executive Officer of IN THE KITCHEN. The company was started by Grant Coote and his business partner Anton Roseler in 2010. After beginning his career in the 5-Star Carlton Hotel and spending eight years filling numerous positions including Maitre D at the ‘Three Ships Restaurant’, he accepted a position as the manager of the 200-seater ‘Peninsula Restaurant’ at Sun City’s Cascades Hotel. He would go on to be involved in the opening of numerous Sun International properties including Carnival City in Johannesburg, The Boardwalk in Port Elizabeth and Grand West Casino in Cape Town, dealing with issues such as recruitment, training, operations and financial performance. With his knowledge of the industry and determination to improve service delivery, Grant saw the opportunity to launch IN THE KITCHEN with Anton. Corporate catering has not been the same ever since.

 

ANTON ROSELER – COO and Executive Chef

Anton Roseler started IN THE KITCHEN along with Grant Coote, and he is now the Chief Operations Officer of the company, while also taking on the role of Executive Chef. His rise in the industry began with training as a Junior Sous Chef position at the 5-Star Carlton Hotel. His experience has included time as a Senior Sous Chef at Southern Sun, and as an Executive Sous Chef at both the Hilton International Group and the Orient Express Group, where he was part of the opening team at the prestigious and highly-acclaimed Westcliff Hotel. Over 20 years of top level experience in the food and beverage industry makes Anton the ideal COO for the company. In addition to the immense practical know-how gained on the job, he has earned numerous qualifications including the International Chef’s Diploma, the International Food and Beverage Diploma, and the International Wits Business School Management Diploma.

 

LERATO NQAMBI – Executive Director and Client Liaison Officer

Lerato Nqambi started with IN THE KITCHEN in 2012 after a successful bid for a flagship contract. She came with a host of experience in the field of Food Safety & Hygiene. She subsequently trained employees in this field throughout the company before her excellent interpersonal skills landed her at the Front of House portfolio in yet another flagship contract. From there, her dedication, organisational skills and sheer determination brought her a position as Project Manager and subsequently, a position on the Board of IN THE KITCHEN. Lerato represents all the qualities that IN THE KITCHEN values in its management and is set to play and even more important role in growing the company to the next level.
